|
|
My first set of updates in a long while as my enthusiasm was quashed by my former mechanic (asshole), but anywho, on to the pics. |

Here is a side shot of a Aeromotive 1000hp fuel pump. Which, I am told, is fully streetable.
Which means that it won't burn out at idle like some other manufacturers. It seems that for other higher priced high volume pumps at idle, there is not enough fuel flowing to maintain the temperature to a managable level.
Not so with the Aeromotive. There is a distributor in Vancouver and are available from Extreme Machine here in Edmonton, Alberta, 1-780-484-1113. |

This is the Aeromotive fuel filter. a neat looking piece that uses a standard Purolator filter (a biiig one) available at any local parts distributor...
Good idea, replacement parts readily available, who would've dreamt of such a concept.
It is mounted on the factory fuel filter clamp (relocated to the back of the car of course) |

This might give you a better idea of where the pump is mounted.
I'll have new pics of my cars new home up shortly.
The "grey" area is where the stock tank was mounted and the cutout is where the stock location of the pump controls were.
I decided to run .44" inner diameter braided raceing hose (this stuff is expensive, almost $10 a foot!!) |
