SAM GOODY CENTRAL AT MALL OF AMERICA
[ DECEMBER 15, 2001 ] @ 2 P.M. scene 23 was to start at 2 p.m. so we decided to go to the mall at 11 a.m. so that we would get better seats than we would if we went late..when we got there i was so suprised, there was like only 30 people there..i thought a lot more people were gonna come but there was nobody..we sat there and waited until 2..we stayed there for about 30 minutes and than people started getting up and running somewhere..i was like "WHY are people running?" so i looked back..and guess who was there? tony michaels..the guy that makes up all their dances..i was gonna ask him for a picture but than he left before i could ask him..he was nice though becuz he took pictures with people and signed autographs..which was pretty cool..we waited and at 12 there still was like nobody maybe about 50 people..the line was so messed up because everyone was right in the center..nobody was to the sides because they were gonna perform so people wanted to see them...anywayz than these KDWB (minnesota radio station) came out and talked for a while..before they were to come out the secruity guards was telling everyone to move..which was bad cuz people who got there early were gonna have to move to the side..so they weren't gonna be able to stay in the center..anywayz people were like "No, why? i have a perfect view." and the secruitys would be like "i'm sorry but you have to move."...and so right when i was in the center, we stopped and the guard told us to move over..and we were like "yea whateva." he stood there waitin' but nobody moved so than he says to the people behind us and say "you can go in front of them."..we were in 2nd row now (where we started but now we were a little bit left to the center)...it was so bad cuz i'm really really short so i was like "DAMN i'm not gonna see anything.." my twin sister was also there with me so i joked and said "hey, you can go on my shoulders."..she goes "yea right" and i was like "i'm serious (but i was not)"..and she goes okay..lolz..we stupid..we tried it..lolz..so i got on my knees and she got on my shoulders..and than i pushed up..big problem..i couldn't get up..lolz..she was a lot heavier than years before haha..the people in back of us said "you know, we aren't going to see anything"..i was like dude "those people right there are doing the same thing, why don't you say that to them to??" but we didn't..cuz i couldn't lift her anywayz..so we stood there for a minute, me trying to get up and than she finally says.."forget it"..lolz we got up and felt all embarrassed and everything...we waited for a what seemed like forever..and than finally we heard music...and there popped out scene 23..they sung 3 songs..first they sung "what she got" "i really don't think so" and "he said she said"...they moved around so much, it was so hard to take pictures...they were really fun to watch..but i think they were lip singing which was stupid..but i don't blame them they dance so much..between each song they would talk..and it was like "WHAT??" cuz they were all talking at the same time..so it was so hard to hear them..one they i noticed though..they really really really like their fans..espically josh..they kept on holding fans hands and everything...than they were done and said they'd come back later...they left and than later they went and did a little interview..and can i say they looked bored as heck espically dorothy..when they went to sit down a whole bunch of fans took the separting lines off and went through them..so my sister and i ended up being way in the back again..i was so mad cuz it was going by so so so slow..almost 2 hours just to get up there...when we were almost by the stage..guess who came and talked to us?? tony michaels came and talked to the fans agaiN!! and luckly this time he was right by me..these girls by me were all like "can we take a picture?" there was three of them..one of them was going to take the picture and than he goes "dn't you want to be in the picture?" and she said yes so he took the camera nad asked me to take a picture of them..i of course said yes..after i asked him for a picture..my sister took it..and she was so dumb..she didn't know what to do..so we stood there for like a minute..and tony was all like "YEA?" finally she took a picture and i said thank you to him..oh yea those girls behind me were shouting out each members names..i saw josh, donavan and monika look over which was nice of them..they tried getting dorothy's attention but she couldn't hear..finally we got to the stage..oh yea and we had a cd cover and some little kind of trading cards that i made..my sister and i didn't want to give the trading cards since they were all on a different sheet of paper..so i was going to do it but than i was like "no you do it because i have to take pictures"..so she took it and went first...i'll tell about my story first..i went to dorothy and than she said "hi, how are you doing?" and i said good..lolz..i got nervous i think her and monika are the prettiest..than she posed for me and than i went to monika she said hi..i was waiting for her to pose for me but she was smiling and looking somewhere else..so i took her picture and than she looked at me and said "OMG, i'm sorry i blinked" i was all like "HUH? you weren't even looking at the camera" hehe..she was so sweet..so she posed for me again..and i said "thank you." and walked to donavan..he said "hi" and posed for me..and than i went to josh and OMG he is so HOT!! and he was like the nicest guy ever he was all like "hi! how are you doing?" and than he asked for my name than he posed for me..and said "well nice to meet you" and i said nice to meet you to..than i went to laurie..she was about to sign my cd cover but than i lifted the camera up ready to take (stupid me)..so she posed for me and than signed my cd cover..i think she was really quiet..she didn't say anything but you can tell she was really nice cuz she just kept on smiling..oh yea before going on stage..josh was wiping himself with a towel..and than he saw this girl in the audience who was sweating..so he kind of shouted..and said "do you want this?"...how nice...so when she got on stage he got off his seat and walked to the side of the stage to take a pciture of her. he also gave his towel to her..how sweet!...anywayz on with my sister..she had the little cards, she went before me..so when she went to dorothy..dorothy said "OMG! these are soo cool, how'd you make them?" she looked on the back and everything..and my sister said on the computer..she was like cool..and said "Do you want me to personalize this?"..and my sister said sure..sicne she's not a fan of scene 23 she said mailee..she started spelling "MAI" and than dorothy goes "is it mailee?"..yea..so she just wrote down my name..but like the maile from eden's crush..so i was like wow maybe she watched popstars 1 and is a fan..hehe..cuz no one ever spells it right..and than monika got it and was like cool..and signed it..when my sister gave it to monika donavan looked over and was like "COOL!"..they all asked how she made it..and than she gave it to josh..and josh goes "wow this is cool, OMG it's the same exact picture, i'm right here and right there." lolz..looking at the cd cover and than at the card..lolz..he also personalized it..but he spelt my name maihlee..and than laurie was all like cool..and asked "where should i sign it?" looking at the back and front..and so she signed it in the front..than that was it! hehe..it was very fun meeting them, they are really nice and sweet..very nice to the fans! stuff i noticed - they have a lot of energy - dorothy talked the most - dorothy and josh were together a lot (not getting any ideas but they stood by each other a lot) - they had funky clothes on, which looked cool - dorothy and monkia are A LOT prettier in real life - laurie is pretty in real life but i think she isn't as pretty as the other girls - josh is VERY VERY GOOD lookin' in real life, if you think he's hot on tv and pictures..he's even hotter in life - donavan looks a lot better in real life but he isn't the cuttest - josh seems to like the fans more than the other members - monika, donavan, and laurie didn't talk as much but josh and dorothy were really talkative - dorothy said she couldn't wait to go ride on our roller coasters..hehe mall of america has the stupidest roller coaster - they all talked at the same time so it was hard to hear any of them sing - during "what she got" when they twirl monika and josh looked like they hit eachother |
