AD FOR A*TEENS A*Teens Performance & Autograph Signing Join one of the world's most popular young bands, the A*Teens, when they come to Mall of America to promote their new album, POP TIL YOU DROP. The Stockholm-based quartet of Dhani Lennevald, Sara Lumholdt, Amit Paul and Marie Serneholt has seen their stardom rise since coming together in 1998, touring with the likes of 'NSync, Britney Spears and Aaron Carter. All of that experience comes together on their new album, which includes several songs co-written by the group members themselves. Come see a special performance by the A*Teens and get their autograph on their new album, POP TIL YOU DROP! Presented by Sam Goody and MCA. Sunday, June 23rd 1:00pm Sam Goody Central *** Please note: If you would like to get an autograph from the A*Teens, you must get a wristband to stand in line. Wristbands will be handed out starting at 7:00am on Sunday morning, and every half hour after that. Once you receive your wristband, you must stay in line. You cannot save places for others coming later, so please make sure your whole party is present to get the wristbands. Everyone is welcome to come and watch the performance. i got to mall of america at 11 a.m...to my BIG BIG suprise there was a lot of people there already (we got on the last row)..i thought that there wouldn't be anybody since no one really knows ateens..but daye they had so much people..i was shocked as heck..but we just waited (my sister, cousin, and i)..i'm just going to get right to the point..they came out and sung i think four songs..during the performance i was recording and i gave the camera to my sister (i brought 4 rows of film, just in case we had good view) since we didn't have a good view i wanted like half a film only..my sister comes to me "mailee, it's done." i'm like "what? already?" she says "yes" so i i put in new film (she doesn't know how to), thirty seconds later, "mailee, it's done." i was like "WHAT?? ALREADY AGAIN?"..i was getting mad because she was wasting film..so i was like damn..i need pictures for the mng too..if i'm going to take more pictures, minus take more pics of them performing..so i put in another row of film, "DON'T take a lot pictures, K?" she takes it and takes some pictures (THANK GOD! she didn't waste it all again)...after they are done it's the meet and greet..sucked because we couldn't take close ups..guard said they were in a rush to get to chicago, lame excuse because there was so much people at MOA...they could not be in anymore rush or else people wouldn't be able to meet them..i mean it only takes like a second to take a picture..what difference does it make?? 60 people in one minute..ain't going to waste their time..it'll take the same amount of time as it would if we didn't take pictures...so i waited...and waited..can i say their guards are complete ASSHOL*S!! they wouldn't let you take pictures right, we understood that an everything but they never said anything about us standing like 5 feet away and posing with them in the background..this girl was standing at the edge of the stage while her mother(?) took a picture..and the guard comes, grabs her by the arm and says "no, you have to leave." I was like "damn, she ain't bothering them, leave her be." anywayz i got to the edge of the stage (the guard wouldn't even let us stand on the stairs, how stupid is that?) first was amit..i handed him my little card and said "hi" he looked at the card in suprise and looked like he was going to say something but than he looks down and signs..didn't eve say hi...than was marie..i think she said hi but didn't look at me..i said "hi nice to meet you" she didn't seem to hear that..than was sara..didn't even look at me, she was looking somewhere else and signed the picture..and than she handed it to dhani..dhani looked at it confused..i was like oh no..i quickly gave him his picture..and he started laughing..sara looked over and kind of laughed with a big smile..he handed me sara's picture and than signed it..and than i went offstage..and that was it..i was upset, i thought they would be so much nicer..you know a simple hello would have been fine for me..or a smile look and smile..but they didn't do that much..i was really upset because this was the first time my cousin has met a star..and this was like my worst star experience i have ever encountered...they were nice and all (cause they didn't say anything mean) but i think they could have been a lot friendlier..at least say hello..but anywayz there's my meeting experience with a*teens.. stuff i noticed - sara and marie kept talking to each other in a different language - while singing marie put an american flag on her head - marie was really funny! like how she talked and stuff - marie likes licking her lips a lot - sara was looking and smiling at this little girl the whole time while signing her autograph, it got a little scarry, cuz she just kept staring - sara doesn't look where she's signing, she glimpses, puts her pen there, looks away and signs like that - amit is so HOT!! he has very nice skin color - dhani is HOTTER than amit! lolz - none of them have zits, nice, healthy skin - there was a lot of kids there to meet them - they seemed really into their music - to think of it..it seems like the girls were the only ones who talked during the performance |
