SAM GOODY CENTRAL AT MALL OF AMERICA
[ MAY 6, 2001 ] @ 2 P.M. As my sisters and I were on our way to church we heard a commerical for Eden's Crush..I told my sister that they were going to be at Mall of America today..and than to my suprise she says "do you wanna go?" i was like, "are you serious? sure!"..so we went to church and waited until church ended..the meet and greet was to start at i think 3 p.m. we left to go at about 12 noon..we first went home to get our camera and everything...than we left to meet eden's crush when we got there, tons of people were waiting in line already..so my sister and i went to go get wrist bands we had to wait awhile and than they let us get into the real line..we were with the first group of people last lane..we waited for a long time..my sister's friend was also there so we decided to give her our video camera since she had a much better view (she was on the top floor)..anywayz the stupid people kept on screaming even though there was no eden's crush..this guy from KDWB kept on coming to talk to the crowd and throwing in shirts etc..finally the screams were louder than ever and i knew that they were actually here!..first they went and signed autographs for people in the handicappe section (which was soo nice of them!) for about 7 minutes..and than they finally came onstage...we waited a long time to finally get there..about an hour to two hours..o yea and my sister's friend came down and gave us the camera, she said the guards told her to put it away..so we took and and took about 10 seconds of footage before the dumb guards made me put it away..finally i was right by the side of the stage (my heart pumped faster than ever)..anywayz my sister went first..she got the cd single signed..a little stood at the front and asked you for your name.."what's your name?" "mailee" "what?" "mailee" "really? mailee like the one over there (pointing to maile)?" "yea"..she turned to ivette and said "her name is mailee"..ivette looked at me in shock and said "your name's mailee?" i said yea and than she all of a sudden bent over to mailee (who was all the way at the end of the table) and said "hey maile, meet mailee" i didn't hear what maile said but i think she was like "Mailee??" while ivette was shocked at my name..i looked at nicole (who was next to her)..she looked at me and smiled...ivette said nice to meet you..i took a picture and she saw so she posed for me but my dumb camera went too soon so i got her signing the autograph instead of posing for me..next i went to nicole..she said "so your name's mailee?" and i said yea and than she said "where are you from?" i being all nervous and everything..was like..i'm from minnesota but than i was like no she wouldn't ask me that becuz this is minnesota so i replied "laos" where my parents are from..she looked at me really strange..lolz..and than she said nice to meet you and posed for my camera..she sat there for like 7 seconds becuz my camera focus on the object so it takes forever..next was rosanna..i'm not sure if she said anything to me..i think she just said hi..she didn't pose for me =(..but because some people behind me were screaming her name so she looked over at them..and than i went to ana maria..i'm not sure if she said anything either but i think she simply said hi too..she was standing so she was really high up..lolz..i'm really short..but she was signing my booklet..i was taking a picture and she looked at me and smiled..i was like "OMG!!" because i didn't think she was gonna pose since she was still signing..but all i can say is she has the prettiest smile ever..next came maile..and she goes "so your name's maile?" i replied yes..and htan she asked "so what nationality are you?" and i said "i'm hmong"..she smiled like she knew but you could tell she was like "hmm, yea what's that"..and than she said "nice to meet you" and shook my hand, she has really skinny hands..lolz..right when i was about to walk away she said "you have a very beautiful name"..lolz..i being stupid just replied "thank you"..manz i could have taken a picture with her because it seemed like we had a couple minutes to ourselves..but i was to shocked to ask..stupid me stuff i noticed: - they were all smiles - ana maira and maile took a lot of pictures together - they really like little kids - this little girl was talking to maile and maile asked her for a hand shake and she said something..and maile had this face like "aww" she turns to ana maria and says something..ana maria looks and the girl and smiles and than shakes her hand..i think the girl didn't want to shake maile's hand, she wanted to shake ana maria's..lolz - they gave a lot of hugs - even though the people said they wouldn't pose, they posed for everybody who had a camera - rosanna drank a lot of water PLANET HOLLYWOOD AT MALL OF AMERICA [ JUNE 24, 2001 ] @ 2 P.M. My sisters, Sara, May, and MaiChi and I left church at about 11:00 to go meet Eden's Crush. We were going to go see them at Mall of America at Planet Hollywood. Well when we got there, there wasn't much fans there maybe like 15 or something only. So we went into Planet Hollywood to go eat but than the waitress said that if you stay in there you won't be albe to get autographs. So MaiChi and I decided to leave and wait in line, but we were hungary so Sara told us they'd save us food. We went outside and waited forever. After about 2 hours nothing happened and one of the employees said that they were very behind schedule and that they got there at 1:25, they wanted to eat right away so they must have been very hungary too!!..Sara never showed up with our food LoLz..MaiChi and me were waiting in line taking a couple pictures..the camera kept on saying "3" so we were confused..we sat there for a while when MaiChi goes.."This camera doesn't have film." LoLz..we put in one (I brought 4 roles of 24 pixs) but the problem was that we didn't know how to put it in so after a while MaiChi asked the lady behind us to help us (Thank you if you or your daughter or husband is reading this!),,,than all of a sudden the fans inside the resturant screamed, everyone in the line stood up but we didn't move so after about 15 minutes most of us sat back down..we waited for a very long time...than finally around 2 something they let us in..about fifty fans each time...when we got in there i heard somebody yelling "MaiLee, MaiLee" I was like what..i looked around but couldn't find anyone than on top of me was my sister Sara she said that they were up in the balcony..which was at the far end of the resturant..and I said for what, she said that there was a pravite party going on with pagent girls and KDWB (radio station) winners...all of a sudden people started screaming, I looked back and sure enough there was Eden's Crush, they were waving to the fans. i got my my camera very quickly but than I only snapped 2 pics, they were taking pictures up there so they turned back again. We stood there for about 10 minutes with nothing to do...and than this KDWB guy talks to us for a while...all of a sudden Eden's Crush walks down the stairs, I had the perfect view..first came out Maile (MaiChi said that she looked like she didn't want to be there), than Ivette, than Rosanna came this guy was all like "I LOVE YOU ROSANNA!!" she lifted her feet up and did a little dance LoLz...it was pretty funny, than Ana Maria and than Nicole..and than they walked to the on the other side of the room waving and everything..i took quite a few pictures...they went on stage and were talking to the fans,,the same guy kept on screaming "I LOVE YOU!!" and they were responding back with "I LOVE YOU TOO!!" my sister Sara said that Nicole joined in the screaming and than started doing skating style dance (like gliding her feet back and forth)...they said that they were going to introduce themselves..they did..i felt bad for Ana Maria becuz no one screamed for her but OMG it was so loud when Nicole said her name..they gave some leather pants to Planet Hollywood...than they sang "Get Over Yourself" acapppella..right at that part our dumb camera run out of film so we had to change..again we couldn't get it so we had to ask the lady behind us (CRUSTY CRUSTY!! we felt stupid!!)...so while they were singing we didn't get any pictures..to get things worse we didn't hear them sing..i only heard Nicole start it with Get over yourself...but luckly my sister May had the other camera so she took some pictures of them singing..after that they went striaght down and started signing autographs...May came and joined us becuz i wanted her to get my poster signed, MaiChi was going to stay off stage and take pictures becuz we couldn't take pictures on stage (WHICH S*CKED BIG TIME!!)...we went on stage and than Ivette asked my sister "What's your name honey?" she answered "May and than Maile signed To May on the top" than she asked me what my name was I said "MaiLee" she said "What?" "MaiLee" "Maolee" "MaiLee" than she said can you spell that out for me I said "MaiLee"...Ivette looked and said your name is MaiLee..i said yep..they didn't remember me =(..it's ok though...than Maile said "Nice to meet you" she stuck out her hand and shook my hand..i was about to leave than I remembered live pictures..I gave them to her and I said "Can you sign this?" she looked at it and said "Sure" she said "This is a great picture of me!" hehe..right when I was about to leave i remembered about my letter to them so I quickly gave it to her she looked at it and than said "Awww...Thank you, you are such a sweet heart!" I said thankx..than I walked to Ivette she said hi signed both pictures and than said nice to meet you took out her hand..and shook my hand..she shakes it kind of funny..LoLz..and than I went to Rosanna..I forgot if she said anything to me..she signed both and than I went to Ana Maria..she looked at her picture and signed it and than she looked up at me and smiled..than looked back down..and than looked back up because she saw me smiling at her and than she smiled again for like 10 seconds..OMG...i had to look away because she has the prettiest smile ever!..so i just looked away..darn me....if you have ever met her she has the prettiest smile,,it could melt you..J/K..than I went to Nicole and she said "What's your name sweetheart?" I said "MaiLee" she said "MeeLee" I said "MaiLee again" and she said "MaiLee" (kind of confused) I said "Yes like Maile over there..(cuts me off) Oh really?" Ana Maria heard and looked up at me and said "Really, MaiLee?" I said yep!!..and than Nicole goes "What nationality are you?" I said "Hmong" and than she said "Well nice to meet you!" I shook her hand also..than she looked at the live picture and turned to Ana Maria and said "Am I suppose to sign this?" I answered yes..oppz...anywayz she took kind of long so I thought she was signing to MaiLee...and than she said, "Thank you soo much, you are such a sweet heart!" LoLz..I said thankx..when I was walking away I heard her say "Have a nice day sweet heart!" LoLz..sweetheart..sweetheart!..than I got off stage..and got the camera and started taking more pictures..we were standing there taking pictures when one of the cops said "You guys and only take 2 pictures and than leave." We laughed at walked away, we had taken about 40 pictures all-together right there..when we were leaving we heard a cop say "I think they've taken more!" hahha..o well we got pictures right,,that's why everyone there before us left, we were the only ones standing there forever..and than we still had pictures left so we decided to go to the balcony and take pictures..other people were there, right when we got up there a employee came and said "I'm sorry you can't take pictures up here." WHAT? other people were, right when we got there they finally came and tell us..boy some crazy stuff...well than we left...later I was walking I looked at the live pictures..I looked at Nicole's and started laughing it said "God bless Baby!" LoLz...how cool? stuff I noticed: - they were just all smiles - Rosanna again drunk a lot of water - Maile talked the most - Nicole was wearing a blue cowboy hat - my sister said that she was listening to Ivette talk, "Promise Me" was on and Ivette turned to Rosanna and said "You know people really like this song" - Rosanna, Nicole, and Ivette were crazy, doing funny moves and everything - Nicole posed a lot for pictures since she was last and nothing to do so she just posed for us! JESSICA SIMPSON'S DREAMCHASER CONCERT MANKATO, MINNESOTA [ AUGUST 13, 2001 ] @ 6 P.M. After going online and reading reviews of Eden's Crush in concert with Jessica Simpson..I decided to go because they were going to perform for about 30 mintues..so two days before the concert my sister and I went to Mervin's California and bought two tickets..later that day we went and bought two more because my other two sister's wanted to go...two days went by and than it was the 13th..before we left we went to my sister's friends house..we left at about 12 noon...and got to the place at 2 p.m...when we got there i was like "where's the line?" i thought there would be a long line but than as i looked there was only about 20 people in line..so my sister's and i decided to go eat since we were very hungry..after about 20 minutes we went back out..the line was still very short..about 30 something people..this girl came up to me and asked if i wanted to buy a Jessica Simpson poster for .25, we said no..but than i said forget it..so my sister and i went and bought one, it was a newspaper, how CHEAP..but it was only .25 so oh well...after a bit they told us to go line up in four groups by the entry way so we went..i was about the sixth person from line..after about an hour more people finally came..the concert was to start at 5 and they were suppose to let people in by 4..but at four we still hadn't gone it...it was so freakin' hot and we were all dieing out there...finally almost close to 5 they let us in...when we were about to go in these stupid immature group of girls all pushed and butched in front of us..like 3 of them got pass me..and than two were going to go in front of me and i looked at them in a mean way and said "What the F*CK?" they looked and me and than let me go in front (STUPID PEOPLE)..anywayz as i was walking i said to my sister "GOSh these stupid people think they've been here for an hour can just butch us, shit i've been here since 2." i was getting ready for the guards to check my bag but the lady just took my bag (1 hour of tryin' to hide my camera lolz)..when we got in people were already all in front row (this was general admission concert)..so we went to the center and was about forth row from the stage...we got all exicted and everything..but nothing happened..we stood there for about another half hour...as we were standing there this stupid girl kept on trying to get in front of me..she was like 5'8 and i'm like let's just say under 5' lolz..my sister's were all like "mailee don't let her" so i kept on moving up everything she moved over..my sister's said she was talking shit about me cuz her friend and her kept on looking at me and laughing...she was a annoying brat...we waited and nothing happened so my two sister's decided to leave and sit in the way back...that stupid girl kept on trying to get in front of me..so i found myself in 3rd row..everyone was pushing up..tons of people were screaming for people to back up (which no one did), everyone was dieing of thrust...so the guards sold water, $5 for a bottle..what a rip off..finally a hot guy came out and put toya's album cover on a chair..and than he held the flag...finally toya came out..everyone was so happy..it was so loud...she was is so tiny..i'm not sure what songs she sung but i'm guessing she sang "Untouchables, the esculater song, another song and I Do"..she gave out so many stuff..about 10 cds, her earings, her necklas, 2 beach balls, tons of posters, i think that's it..before she sang "I Do" she asked for three people who knew her that song..so three girls went up and they all sang the chorus of "I Do"..whoever sung the best got tons of her stuff..that was nice of her...she talked to the crowd a lot...after she was done we waited for about 30 minutes again..than youngstown came out..dallas is HOT!!..lolz..anywayz while they were singing people were throwing candy to them..lolz...i don't know what songs they sang..but when they were about to leave they sang a a cappella..and did it sound nice!..i think one of them threw their towel out into the crowd...than we waited forever again...people were dieing out there, guards were going around and taking people out of the crowd if they felt sick..in front of me was a girl in a wheelchair, her mom and i think her sister..her sister wasn't feeling well so she left..when she left that brat and me and others rushed to get her spot..luckly i got it!!..now i had perfect view..i was in 2nd row but it felt like first row because the girl in the wheelchair was in front of me so i could see well (THANK YOU!)..the girl was totally complaining to her mom..she really wanted to go home..and i was like "NO, don't go.." because if she left people would rush to her place and i wouldn't be able to see anything..but her mom did leave..luckly she was also there to see Eden's Crush..and all I wanted to see was them too!..anywayz..Plus One finally came out..and boy are they HOT! espically Jason and Jeremy...I don't remember their songs..but i know they sang "God Is in This Place and My Life" that's all i remember..lolz...after they left..we waited forever..and i knew who was up next...EDEN'S CRUSH!!...when we heard music everyone started screamin' their heads off....than out popped Nicole..they did this little intro thing..it was really cool..but they didn't wear that green outfit like they usually do..i was so exicted i took 17 pictures in the first song!..i only brought 2 row of films.cuz i was scared i might get caught with the camera..which they didn't care...ana maria, ivette and nicole or rosanna waved the girl in front of me which i thought was really nice of them....they sung..lolz i dont' even remember but i found it on a web page so now i know! "No Drama and jumped into I Wanna Be Free, Anywhere But Here, Good For the Goose, 1,000 Words, Love This Way, Glamorous Life, Get Over Yourself".."Good for the Goose" has the funniest moves..they look like they are doing taebo..i think before they sang "1,000 Promises" ana maria talked and said that her family was in the crowd to the right..i looked but couldn't see anything..lolz peeps too tall...they started "Get Over Yourself" with the acappella version..when they finished the people in front of me left..and like i thought..everyone rushed to get their place..and like i knew..I could see nothing anymore..my sister and i wanted to see jessica so we waited a while..but she took forever to come out..so we also left...we went to sit with my sister's they had a good view but just far..they said that ana maria sounded the best out of them..and that nicole was really good..but they said that out of all toya did the best..because she sounded really really nice..i couldn't hear anything..we waited and waited for jessica..and than my sister saw a couple of people by the gate screaming..my sister said to go check it out because one of the musicians might be there because plus one was signing autographs right there..so i went to go look and i saw this really huge eden's crush fan, i've seen him in the meet and greets before..screaming so i went and looked...there was ivette!!..she was about 50 ft. from the gates..talking on her cell phone..it was cute cuz she had on her pj's..which i think were blue..and she had a pink shirt on...i left because she wasn't really paying attention..plus she was on the phone..my sisters and i waited for an hour and jessica never came so we left...we went to mcdonalds after and we could hear her singing from there..the concert was okay..it didn't even seem like a concert but i'm glad i went cuz i got to see stuff i noticed: - hmmm...they sound extremely nice live - they make eye contact with the audience a lot more than the other singers |
