SAM GOODY CENTRAL AT MALL OF AMERICA
[ OCTOBER 9, 2001 ] @ 5 P.M.
i heard that o-town was coming to minnesota's mall of america about a week before they came. i really wanted to go but it was on a tuesday, school day so i didn't know if i could go or not. so the night before maichi, my twin sister, were talking about going and i asked my sister if she could take us tomorrow but she said she had school so she couldn't but she did say that we could go to college with her and than when she had break (at 1 p.m.) she could take us. so the next morning we wrote a letter to school saying that we were sick (hehe bad us) and left to go the bus stop (my parents didn't know), instead we hid behind the stores by our house and waited for our sister to come and pick us up. we stayed at the university of minnesota for a long time, we were having trouble finding a bus to take us to mall of america. finally at 12 our other sister who goes to the UofM came and stayed with us, she was on break, and we walked to go meet our aunt who also goes to that school. luckly our aunt is nice and was on a three hour break now offered to take us to MOA. when we got there i wasn't expecting a lot of people because it was only about 12:30 and o-town wouldn't start until 5 p.m. but to my suprise there was already a line of about 100 people. we sat there waiting for ever and the line just kept getting longer and longer. finally the line started moving (thank God) but all of a sudden everyone started pushing, we were all squeezed together, couldn't even breathe. people from the back were running up and pushing to get the the front, so hectic. by that time i had lost my sister and friend because they had gone out to get something, i looked to my side and they were standing (out of the crowd) yelling, "Mailee..mailee." I started shouted, "get in here." but they couldn't because there was no room to get in. luckly they were checking your wrist band numbers so that you could get out of the line and get to the area to wait for o-town. i heard they saw numbers after mine so i pushed my way to the front, when i got there i looked to the side and omg i could have just went to the side and walked to the front because there were more security guards standing in the area to meet otown but they weren't checking wrist bands. so we got there and were in last row, can you believe that? we got there at 12:30 and we were in last row..no fair..anywayz my other sister came so i gave her my camera because she said she could get great pix of them (they were practicing to the side so she took pics of them while i stayed in line) after a long time they finally came out and started singing. I don't remember the songs but i know they sung "sexiest woman alive" "liquid dreams" "all or nothing" "the painter" (which they brought a little girl on stage, "we fit together" and i think they sung a couple more but i don't remember. all i remember was be mad as heck becuz my sister had the camera and i wanted it because erik and trevor ran past me twice! anywayz after that it was the signing. everyone pushed again, the guards said that if we didn't calm down, o-town was going to leave...but people didn't care much, it was still so hectic..a bunch of people ran and went in front of us..i was so FREAKIN' MAD as heck..after about 10 people a lady took the mic and said, "YOU MUST have a wrist band to meet otown. there is no way of meetin' them unless you have one." I guess a bunch of people without wrist band tried getting up to the stage but they were pulled back. like half of the crowd walked out after that..lolz..i was like "thank God." i don't mind them meeting otown but it's just that they went in front of people like me, who waited for hours and hours and it's just not fair at all..so i got to the stage and dan was first, he was HOT!, "hey, i'm dan, how are you doing?" "fine." "great, what's your name?" "mailee" "well nice to meet you" he shook my hand, "nice to meet you too." than it came to erik, he looked so nice and sweet, "hi, i'm erik, nice to meet you." he took out his hand and shook my hand, "nice to meet you too." than it was ashley and daye he is HOT! "hi, how are you doing? i'm ashley." "good" "what's your name?" "mailee." "well nice to meet you." he shook my hands. than it was jacob, he was HOT too!! "hi, i'm jacob." he said took out his hand shook my hand. than it was trevor, "hi, i'm trevor." took out his hand and shook my hand also. trevor looked kind of mad..i don't think he was as nice as the others..but i think he wasn't having a good day because he didn't smile much at the meet and greet..jacob was very quiet but nice and all smiles..ashley..man that guy is so nice and should i say HOT as heck, even better looking in real life..my sister and i are twins so i went first and my sister went up to him and he goes, "who's this?" to the picture, he thought she was me so he didn't even shake her hands, poor her..hehe..erik is so sweet..i don't know there's just something about the way he looks, and he is so much better looking in real life..and than there's dan..totally HOT in real life..so sweet and nice, always had a wonderful smile and very very friendly!
stuff i noticed
- not a notice but it sucked because we could only get one autograph
- ashley and dan kept up to the other levels cause people kept calling their names
- trevor looked so sad =(
- jacob is so much better looking in real life
- during the beginning they were have microphone problems
- when they were introducing themselves, ashley went second last and totally forgot about jacob who introduced himself last
- someone kept on spraying silly strings and you could tell dan was getting annoyed he finally said, "okay you can stop that now." lolz
- while talking they kept on looking up at the other levels in suprise (they were all filled with people watching them)
