SAM GOODY AT MALL OF AMERICA
[ JULY 22, 2001 ] @ 2 P.M.
after church two of my sisters, mom and i went to go meet krystal at mall of america, actually it was just me who wanted to go meet her but they just came along to shop etc. we left home at about 1:51 and got to mall of america at 2:15. we parked on thrid level since sam goody was up there and my mom wanted to go get a massuas (don't know how to spell, lolz..it's where you relax, people relax your mucles, except my mom was going to the water one). we got there and there was a event going right by sam goody so my sister told me to go see if it was her. i went and looked all i saw was some people doing tae kwon doe. so i went to my sister's and said that it wasn't, than we went to sam goody the store and asked a employee where it was going to be taking place. that guy knew nothing but yet he told us that she'd probably be doing it where the people were doing tae kwon doe or they'd be doing it at sam goody central. my sister told me to walk to sam goody central and see if it was, i got there, it was a video game festival, a lot of tvs and games going on but than there was a long line so i decided to ask what they were waiting for. i went down the escalter and i saw a bunch of little kids, i'm like "hmmm...this can't be krystal, to much little kids (they were all in their early years like 1 or 2)" but i went and asked this guy with three kids, i tapped him on the shoulder (DUMB me!) "umm..who are you guys waiting for (i was going to say excuse me but it wouldn't come out lolz)" and he answered "jj" OMG, not krystal i said "thankx" and walked away. so we decided to go look for the sam goody by macy's and sure enough there it was. there was a line of maybe just 100 people. finally after 30 minutes a bunch of screaming so i knew that krystal was there. the line was going so so so slow, it was slower than eden's crush who had probably around 500 people. i walked up to the front (there's a line for autographs and a line where you just walk up) and i took picture, i realized why it took soo long, krystal talks to you if you talk to her, which means if you talk to her she'll probalby talk to you for a minute or two plus her autograph is very very long. i went back in line. finally after about 2 hours we finally got there. before my sister went the girl in front of us was talking to the one of krystal's people and all of a sudden she bumps into krystal's water bottle, she turns around and goes "OMG, i'm so sorry" krystal just sat there laughing and than said "it's ok"..lolz..right when my sister went i had butterflies (my first butterflies for meeting her!) there was a guy standing there asking if you wanted a picture so my sister gave the camera to him. next was my turn i walked up and she says "Hi!" i look at her and blank.."my name's mailee" than i sudden remember my friends letter (she couldn't make it) so i go "this is from my friend, she couldn't make it." krystal takes and than goes "oh thankx, tell her i said thank you" and than she looks at me and i go "oh, m a i l e e" (she didn't know how to spell my name, most people don't lolz)...after she finished writing my name she rubbed her nose and i being stupid just smiled lolz..than i go "can i take a picture?" she goes "oh sure!" we turn to the camera, right when i was walking away i go "i love your album" and than she goes "thank you"..lolz..anywayz she was really really nice!..i mean how many artists do you know that has a long as heck signature? and who talks to you forever?
stuff i noticed:
- nobody knew her, everybody that walked by would say "who's here?" we'd answer krystal and they'd be like "oh her" and walk away like "who the heck is she"
- a lot of the people there just bought her cd
- there was these girls behind me who didn't really like her, just liked her because of backstreet boys
- this girl of us didn't even have krystal's cd, when she got up there she goes "oh, i forgot to bring your cd" she had someone else's cd booklet (how dumb)
- there was this girl just standing there video taping (how boring)
- she had no security guards
- there was this lady who kept on taking pictures of the fans, she was with krystal though because she was standing by her the whole time
