The Montgomery Ballet http://www.montgomeryballet.com offers a traditional classical ballet studio.  Cost varies.  Youth auditions are held in September for ages 12 and up.  They practice Wed. and Sat. and perform with the professional dancers.  They offer pre-ballet and Ballet I to homeschoolers on Tues. and Thurs. mornings.  Ballet camp in June for ages 10 and up.  6009 E Shirley Lane, 409-0522.

*Tonya Speed's Dance Connection - 3370 Harrison Rd., Prattville, for info. call Danette at 279-9235.  Praise Dance Classes (ballet, sign language, tap and praise movement to all Christian music) are held on Tuesdays at 2:30-3:25 (ages 4-8) and 3:30-4:30 (ages 9 & up).  Costs are $38/month and $30/month for each additional sibling

*Prattville YMCA, 365-8852,  has a great gymnastics program for ages 5 1/2 and up.  Cost is $30 to $38/month (members) or $48 to $65/month (non-members) for 1or 2 days/week.  The more advanced gymnasts are competitive.  They also offer Gyminee Crickets for walking to age 5 for $26 to $44/month (members) or $37 to $64/month (non-members).  Homeschool gymnastics will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Contact Jessica Sedgewick.
