PEAK of Montgomery Parent Educators and Kids (PEAK) of Montgomery is a member-directed support group for homeschooling families in the Montgomery, Alabama area. Our members plan local activities and field trips to provide our children with opportunities to interact and learn together. We are an inclusive group, and welcome all local home educators who enjoy sharing and learning with other families. Our members represent a broad range of homeschooling styles, personal beliefs, and political viewpoints, and we value and find strength in that diversity. To join our group, visit us on the web at http://www.montgomerypeak.com . Charlotte Mason Support Group This group meets monthly for fellowship, encouragement, and study of the Charlotte Mason "living books" method. Fundamental to this group is the belief that we are called to raise our children to live the life God has given, in the way that God has intended for them. This method uses Nature Study, Narration, great Literature, and a strong emphasis on giving children's minds beautiful ideas to feed upon. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at a home in east Montgomery. Call Suanne 279-4027 for more information. Cover Schools -- please see the "Area Cover Schools" page.
