GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Magalang uniquely lulling at the norhteast of the Province of Pampanga is approxamately 11 kilometers away in the northeast of Angeles City. About 42 kilometers from San Fernando about 92 kilometers North of Manila and nearly 178 kilometers from Baguio City at the South. In its northern boundary lies the town of Concepcion, Tarlac, the town of Arayat on the Southeast and Mabalacat on the west.

TOPOGRAPHY

The flat terrain sprawls prompyly on the northern area of the locality. Its Mountain ranges stretch from barrio of San Vicente across the barangays of San Agustin and Turu down to the southwest barangay Eacaler. Enveloping and crisscrossing the mass of land area are a river and several numbers of creeks. These wild bodies of water, so destructive to fertile agricultural lands are the Quitangil River, Sta. Cruz-San Francisco Creek and the San Vicente-San Agustin Creek.

CLIMATE

Magalang has two types of climate: the rainy season starts from the month of June to October and the dry season starts from November to May.Mild rainfalls fall on the month of June but during the month of July,August and September heavy rainfall to frequently occur. Since Magalang is a part of Central Luzon, it is often visited of typhoons during the months of June to October.
