SAN VICENTE

San Vicente was established in 1889. its original founders were cabezang Felipe Luciano and Toribio Dizon.

The barrio was formely called "Paitan" named after the paitan trees that grew in the place.

In 1941 when World War II broke out, many of the inhabitants evacuated to different places. They were frightened at the cruel ways of the Japanese Soldiers. Many of the barrio people have not returned to rebuild their houses but settled in Sta Cruz, a neighboring barrio, nearer the poblacion.
