Some teachers whom we remember for one reason or the other........
Mrs. Uma Gowri - good-natured, highly interactive, continuously long lectures, lot
of notes in her hand, least short-tempered, helping us always,
soft-spoken, speaking good English, teaching beyond the books.
Mr. Anthony Muthu (H.O.D.) - good and strict army man, making us sleep us very
easily, doesn't give break, even lectures non-stoppingly after the bell
rings, catches hold of people sleeping in class, catching boys who haven't
shaved, telling lot of stories regarding his days in the army.
Mrs. Tamilarasi - calm person, takes notes in
bit papers, slow teaching, asking us to stand up and get out when anyone
talks in the class, least interactive.
Mrs. Joy Merline - good-natured, we made lot of sounds in her class, she stole Kelvin's
'Munch', she literally cried when we kalaased her, funny and enjoyable
classes.
Ms. Komalavalli - soft-spoken, timid natured,
teaches individually rather than to the whole class, has lot of
difficulties in controlling the class.
Mr. Prakash - good-natured, highly interactive,
taught subjects which weren't in our syllabus, telling stories about his
past life, encouraging people to do different things, soft-spoken,
teaching beyond the books.
Mr. Raja - joyful nature, talks everyting except the subject, was
kalaased a lot by us, acts like teaching when either HOD or Chariman comes
for rounds, never taught a single topic, thankfully came for only one
subject.
Ms. Abirami - good-natured, remember those old-styled spectacles, strict initially
then giving off due to our pressure, speaking good English.
Mrs. Pon Kavitha - good teacher, soft-natured, unfortunately
taught for only one semester for us.
Mr. Sivakumar - soft-natured, thankfully we had a good and dedicated
teacher for a subject for which book was given only during study holidays
(Field Theory), he encouraged us take up seminars and that was the
starting point of seminars for me and for some others.
