I remember, the AICTE sanctioned strength for our ECE batch was 40.  We never knew how 47 of us could pass-out in the same batch.

As far as I know, ours was the only college to have taken its students for a picnic to a kids' amusement park, namely MGM Dizee World during our first year.

Ours is the only college which didn't have any function or celebration of any kind for a period of one and half years without any good reason.

We survived only on the notes given by Mr.Sivakumar for Field Theory during 3^rd semester.  That was the first and last time we took notes.

I was the only one with a different set of programs (written by me) in my Computer record.  All the rest of you had the same set of programs.

I don't know about others but I have not totally relied on any local author books for any subject throughout my college life (even for subjects like DSP, Control Systems, Field Theory for which books given to us were not good).

As far as I know, I was the only person to have applied the subject knowledge to practical use during our college days by designing the automatic washing machine control circuit during our 6^th semester.  I had earlier assembled a buzzer circuit into a plastic tiffin-box during our 3^rd semester holidays.

Our batch didn't organize any symposium or seminar in our entire college life.  We didn't even show good participation in the only symposium of our department arranged by our seniors during our 3^rd year.  But our juniors have hosted a symposium in August 2003 after we passed out.

Some people who visited the library only during library periods and exam days were Raji, Krishnaraj, Bapineedu, Lalith etc.

I have not spoken a single word to one person in our class during the entire college days.  The person is Karuna.  With the others, I have spoken atleast a few words in one occasion or the other.

Shivashankar and myself used to cut Comm. switching sys. classes and used to stay in the library in the pretext of meeting the principal for one reason or the other.

During one breakfast session in our first year, I happened to have a rusted iron nail in my pongal.  Fortunately, before swallowing, I noticed it and spitted it out - an example of bad quality of food in the college.

Our chairman's canteen visits - He used to visit our canteen just to show off that he inspects the canteen system and its services.

	Since wasting the food wasn't permitted, he used to check the eaten plates.  He even used to open the cups in the eaten plates to check whether any person had concealed his/her food in the cup not minding that he is touching what others have left out eating.
	Once a student while eating, told the chairman that the food wasn't nice.  Instantly the chairman put his hand into that student's plate, took the food and ate it and said that it was ok not minding that he is eating what others have left out.

Our batch didn't have an officially arranged farewell party i.e. the management didn't give us a farewell party. It was only the juniors who gave us the farewell party.

Only some of us participated in the farewell party organized by our juniors. It is fascinating because it is the farewell party in which everybody has to participate.

Our branch of our batch (1999-2003) secured the most number of distinctions, numbering eight of the total twenty seven distinctions.

Vijay Karthik's last semester blast in percentage (about 10% above his earlier overall average), earned him the deserved distinction.

It was from our branch that the first people were selected and offered job through the campus interview in our college. First I was selected, then it was Krishnaswamy.

The campus interview conducted for our branch offered the highest salary and working environment among the various campus interview placements of our college.

Our department alone has respected the campus placements of our college with our beloved Krishnaswamy still working in Prasad Studio.

In our college, Vijay Karthik won the most number of prizes for individual events in the various inter-college competitions. Indeed he was the patron in this department of competitions in our college.

In our college, I have presented the most number of papers in technical symposiums.

In our college, our department (1999-2003) achieved the overall best academic performance.

In our class, Ramachandran is the only person who has cleared the GATE exam although some of us have attempted it. But he is also the only person of our class to go for a training for GATE exam.

As far as I know, only three of us attempted for Government jobs, namely, myself, Ramachandran and Shivashankar.  Myself and Rama attempted the UPSC exam.  Then Shivashankar joined us for the C-DOT exam in Bangalore.  But these attempts were unsuccessful.  Then some of us including myself and Rama applied for Scientist positions in ISRO and NRSA.  But I alone got a call for the interview.  But I didn't attend it.

As far as I know, I am the only person who got calls for interviews in Government jobs, namely for Scientist positions in ISRO and NRSA.  But I didn't attend it.
