Our college's 4th alumni meeting
was held on 26th February 2006 at our college premises. Some of the former students
from the 2002 passout batch to the 2005 passout batch attended the same. Only 2 people from
the 2003 passout batch attended. One of them was Ramachandran from our

Mr. Vaidhyanathan, the lecturer of
our department, also our immediate senior (from another college ofcourse) is presently
doing his M.E. in GCT, Coimbatore. Although he hasn't taught us, he was known to
many of us. For those who don't remember him...he is a lean and short person and
he initally started to teach us 'Satellite Communication' but later that subject was
given to Mr. Raja.

is slowly and steadily gaining ground as a cinema shooting place.
It seems more and more film makers are interested in shooting in our
college as they believe that the films being shot in our college are a
grand success.

Mr.Shivakumar, the person who taught
us Field Theory during our third semester, is working as an Assistant Professor in
MNM Jain College, Thorapakkam, Chennai. Ramachandran caught up with him last
week. He had asked about some people of our class. He is a good teacher as
we all know and we are happy to meet him again.

appeared in 'The Hindu' dated 27th June 2004, stating that
the Alumni Association congratulates the Management of the college and
staff of Mechanical Engineering Department and Electrical & Electronics
Engineering Department for the success in securing ACCREDITATION from
National Board of Accreditation - AICTE, New Delhi. It also stated
"You have achieved this within six (6) years of existence - a record for
Engineering colleges".
