Its December 14th 2004 - one year after our website was launched.
This is the occasion to celebrate the spirit of our website, praise its
contributions and know its significance.
The following section explains about our site in various aspects and the
important events that took place in the past one year of our site's
existence.

Our opinion
Our website has been created with the foremost aim of celebrating the best
times in our college and also keeping us connected. It serves as diary
of our college life, something which helps us to relive our evergreen
college days. It aims to keep us connected by letting all of us know
what each one of us are doing.
Our website has a huge set of features that clearly help to
achieve its objective. Right from the records of
the events of our college life to the information section which
helps us to stay connected, our website has a variety of sections
which are loaded with tons of information. The following are

There are several features in our website which have been
incorporated for ease of use, improving look and feel and increasing user
interaction. There is always great room for participation in improving
the website and maintaining it thereby increasing the features.

Our website has high user participation
related sections, carefully designed and put up in the appropriate
places. They include user input forms for inputting the news about
the individuals, submitting birthdays, wishing others on their
birthdays, guest book for submitting the user's input about the website
and giving one's suggestions for the betterment of the website.

The hyperlinks are clearly titled and
aptly placed in the pages. This includes the positioning of the
hyperlinks and GIF images to explain the category of the hyperlinks. |

In every page of the website there is a subscription form to subscribe
to our class members' Yahoo group. |

In just one year of its existence, our website has crossed
several milestones which are worth mentioning.

Known to just a few members of our class initially, now the website is
known to all the members of our class irrespective of the fact that they have subscribed to our Yahoo
group. This has been possible due to rigorous advertising,
encouraging user participation and diversifying the content of the
website systematically. |

Our website has helped in increasing the
user participation and interaction among the targeted audience of the
website i.e. the members of our class. |
|
|
Starting with a few sections, the number
of the sections has increased substantially based on the user
participation. |
|
|
The inclusion of the birthday section is
considered as the highest level of user participation and interaction.
This has helped in knowing one of the memorable moments in our lives and
has provided a greater room of staying in touch by participating in
everyone's birthday. |

|
The inclusion of the photos section is the
finest method of sharing many of our golden moments of togetherness
and showcasing the changes in our appearance to all of us. Today,
at the time of our website's first birthday, there are 89 photos spread
over 10 photo albums of our website. |
|
|
The launch of the message forum has gone
to the extreme end of increasing interaction among us without receiving
e-mails and piling up of our mailboxes. It is also the place where
everyone can communicate synchronously. |
Our website has underwent a variety of changes especially with
respect to look and feel. There were also changes with
respect to the content of many sections. Many new sections
were launched from time to time.

In all, our website has served its purpose for
existence and has grown into a huge entity due to the continued support
