Defenders (tennis balls) are coming at you from all sides, you're looking down field for a receiver, WHO DO YOU THROW TO!?!? Haha it gets intense but that is the concept of this mini game. A target will light up, that is the one you must throw to. Watch your back though, never know when those pesky defenders (tennis balls) will sneak up on you.
This mini game can be tough for first time madden players. For the experienced player it shouldn't be to much of a challenge. The higher skill level you attempt the more tennis balls are shot at you and the faster they are. Rookie and Pro, once again, are mediocre attempts at perfection. Reach the All Pro or All Madden levels, you'd better have your running shoes on.
- The key concept of the game is to use your peripheal vision to spot the receiver and the ball at the same time. You should be looking down field at which defender to throw to next, but also keep an eye out for which way the tennis ball is going. The faster you can release the ball to the correct target, the better.
- Avoiding the tennis balls is simpler than you may think. Making sharp cuts and quick moves to avoid them will slow you down drastically and could even stray you far from the pocket. It is ok to leave the pocket for a slight second if needed, but return immediately. Instead of making quick moves to avoid the tennis balls, make smooth, smart reactions to get around the tennis balls quickly and then release the pass. Learning to smoothly and quickly avoid the tennis balls will make your game skyrocket and thus get you that gold medal you're after.
- It doesn't matter whether you lob the ball or bullet it, as soon as you press the correct target button, you'll move on to the next target. So don't worry about how hard you hit that button, just get rid of the ball!
