Objectives of the Past Pupils Union

The Coláiste De La Salle Macroom P.P.U. at a recent meeting set out the following broad objectives:

• forge a link between the past pupils of De La Salle College, Macroom at home and abroad;
  
  
• facilitate a link between the past pupils sharing similar interests (social & business);
  
  
• provide a contact between past pupils and De La Salle College with a view to providing an information base for existing, future and past pupils of the school for exchange of ideas, professional advice, training, employment opportunities etc.;
  
  
• to facilitate and encourage the holding of social events for groups, classes, teams etc. associated with the school;
  
  
• to publish occasional newsletters.

It is hoped that additional past pupils will join this Committee over the coming months to assist in the objectives outlined above.
