Next up come the European FAKs by AB toys. I really don't know much information about AB toys other then it is a French company, which manufactured original DBZ toys. A lot of AB toy's 5 inch figures are now being imported into the US by Irwin.

The AB toys aren't as good as Bandai's Japanese FAKs but are still of good quality. The AB toys have some areas on the figure, which are not painted while Bandai completely paints their kits. Take a look at the pictures of the European kits, Tapion and Unknown. You'll see some unpainted areas right near the wrists of the figures. The plastic of the AB toys' kits is slightly thinner and of a lower quality then the Bandai kits. You really can't see it in the pictures.

Overall, if you are a fan of the Japanese FAKs you will enjoy the European FAKs, if you can find them. Good luck.

Also make sure you take a look at Tapion's legs and you'll see that he has no plastic outfit like the Japanese FAKs. The legs are molded in the correct color and are snapped together. Overall it isn't that bad an effect. If you look real close you can see the seams from the two pieces being joined.

Tapion

How did Link get into DBZ?

Tapion

Just kidding. But doesn't Tapion resemble Link.

Well, the unknown figure has been identified. The name of this character is Minoshia. Thanks to Lupin III for the identification. Minoshia is the younger brother of Tapion. I won't go into much detail about the background of Minoshia as my site doesn't deal with that.

I am by no means a DBZ expert. I have only seen Funimation's US releases and some Fan-subbed tapes. I also read the major DBZ websites that cover the series. So my knowledge about the series isn't as great as other fans. I'm glad that there are people like Lupin III who are willing to help others out. Thanks again.

Check out the Potara earing.

Well guys, I got the final European FAK I wanted to get. I'm satisfied now as my FAK collection is complete. I don't intend on getting the other European FAKs as they are only repackaged Japanese FAKs.

Vegetto is the combined form of Vegeta and Gokou, through the use of the Potara earrings. Fusion through the Potara earrings is permanent, however Vegeta and Gokou were able to reseperate by entering Kid Buu. Vegetto is very arrogant, probably due to Vegeta being the dominant form during this fusion.

AB Toys did a good job in creating the Vegetto figure. I'm glad AB Toys took some chances and created original FAKs to complement the Japanese ones. Vegetto uses the same body style as the original Japanese FAK with some original pieces such as the forearms, hands, hair, head and the boots. This FAK only includes Vegetto in Super Saiyan form. I would have liked a regular Vegetto head but I can live with the kit. The Vegetto kit also has some unpainted areas. But a little dab of paint will correct it.
