Luke's Quest for Canadian Immigration
Welcome to Luke's Quest for Canadian Immigration

These pages share my personal experience in applying for immigration to Canada under humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) grounds for partners in same-sex relationships with the help of LEGIT, the Lesbian & Gay Immigration Task Force. My application process was virtually identical to a normal Independent Application for Permanent Residence except for the addition of the H&C documentation. Since then, the laws have been changed, and applying under H&C Grounds is no longer the only option for same-sex couples.
