When I lost them both,
I sat and cried
And I asked HIM,
and wondered why?
Life is so unfair,
and filled with pain
What is the reason,
what am I to gain?

I remembered a friend,
she said to me
Thank God,
and pray on bended knees.
HE put them in your life,
be grateful you see
Was destined to happen,
part of the mystery.

There is a bigger plan,
right down the road
However, you can't see it,
or begin to know.
One day on your journey,
it will all make sense
Alpha and omega, eternity,
time without end.

HE is there to comfort,
guide you through
Heartache, the sorrow,
love you once knew.
Until that time comes,
hold tight to your faith
Believe in tomorrow,
make the best of today.
