| I relaxed and did some reading on the morning of March 20th. Danny and Michelle visited various golf courses to try to play a couple of holes. Unfortunately many were closed or golf clubs were not available to be rented. So, we met up and headed to Crieff, a town approximately 30 minutes away from Aberfeldy. Crieff is home to the Glenturret Distillery, a Scotch single malt whisky used to make the blended Famous Grouse whisky. We toured the distillery. We had a very fun-loving, animated tour guide. She was a lot of fun. We later headed into Crieff. Crieff is also home to Stuart Crystal, a famous glass crystal maker (now owned by Waterford). We spent about a hour touring the small town. I went on a photo safari. This was the only afternoon of the entire trip that we had cloudy weather. |
