IRELAND TRAVEL ITINERARY
March 16:
   Killarney
   Dingle Peninsula
   Co. Kerry / Co. Clare
   Cliffs of Moher
We traveled from Killarney to Dingle, after a minor car mishap.  We left a little later than planned.  But, we decided to see Dingle.  We had originally planned to go over a mountain pass.  Luckily, Michelle suggested we drive around Dingle Peninsula.  As you can see from the photos, we were blessed (the entire trip) with beautiful weather.  Hands down, this was my favorite scenery on the trip. Rick Steves says this rivals the Ring of Kerry.  Scenes from the movie "Far and Away" were filmed here.

We arrived at the Cliffs a little after dusk.  We were able to see incredible views.  Detail in the photos is limited due to lighting conditions.  It was cold and windy here.
We hurried to try to get to the Cliffs of Moher while there was still light.  We crossed the River Shannon on a  ferry.  We then made a mad dash to the Cliffs.

En route from Killarney to Dingle
Sadly, this picture does not do justice for the scenery.  The hill is about 2 to 3 miles away, to give you an idea of the height & depth of the scenery.  Incredible view!

Prior and during our trip, we prayed for safe passage, nice weather, & it our prayers were answered. Every day of our trip, weather was in the mid 50s or warmer AND SUNNY.  It was amazing to see the Dingle Peninsula on a day like we had.  This was Sunday, so I was able to worship and praise God outdoors that day, enjoying his Creation.  The weather was a great blessing.
