Wow talk about me neglecting the web pages and logs. Let see the last time I posted was late January and here it is Easter Monday. Sheesh.
Since then I have officially become single again. Yep got drunked up somewhere before St.Paddy's day and finally figured out I was done. Of course drunken calls are not the best but i stuck to it this time. Just wish I could remember everything I said. Oh well. Hopefully didn't get too ignorant but most likely did. Funny thing is though, except for the daily phone calls, it is pretty much the same as it was the past few months. I don't see her, just like the past few months. I have no sex life, just like the past few months. I spend most of my time alone, just like the past few months. etc. etc. etc. I do wish her and her family well and hope she finds what she is looking for.
Oh yeah I am finally finished my driving suspension. Now I just got to go through the MVA bullshit to get the actual driver's license back in hand. Of course I still got to get up to the MVA. And then I have to find out what hoops they want to make me go through. Beauracracy: An organized way of being an asshole and making life hard for John Q. Public. Sancho bring me my lance and ready my steed....
I decided to take Saturdays back at Toms Sports Tavern working the Tiki Bar. I figure I don't have any reason to leave my Saturday's open anymore since I am single, (not that I had much reason before). So I spent all last Saturday power washing and cleaning a seriously neglected bar. I bought a new laptop (Windows Media Center) to make music more accesible outside. Brushed up on my drinks and got out the ole flair practice bottles. Two Saturdays ago I got a practice session in on the inside bar. Cleared $300 in tips. Not too shabby for a locals' bar. I still have a lot to do to get that bar ready but it is shaping up. That is if the rain ever stops this week and gives me some time to work outside.
Yeah its been raining lions and dingos here (sorry, cats and dogs just seemed too cliche) . Saw this old man driving out of the lumberyard with enough wood for an ark. Kinda made me nervous. Weather is supposed to stay like this all week. After I am done on my page, I'll go search the web for some Indian NON rain dance.
I passed my orange sash test for kuoshu. We have an official demonstration next Sunday and that is when the pre-test will be made official. I think I am going to slow-down on my rank progression and work on perfecting what I have learned already. Maybe at the end of the year I'll look into learning the next form and go for my next rank. I definitely have to increase my workouts and most importantly my stretching ability. Gumby I am not. I got the flexibility of rock.
My old dart partners and friends are back in town. I ran into Pete and Brian last night at Toms Sports Tavern. Good to see them both. Unfortunately Pete is back because of problems with his marriage. Not the best circumstances to have him back under but good to have them back.
Well my office reports are done compiling so I better get back to working on my inventory control program. There is probably a ton more info I am missing but I'll save that for another log.
