So that was Christmas 2004.  Another holiday gone.  I missed mass on Christmas Day but have hit mass every Sunday since I said I'd start going.  Not too bad.  Keep this up and their might be hope for me yet.

The past couple days I have spent watching the fourth season of the "Sopranos".  Yes I am behind the times.  I had to wait for mom to give me the dvd set as a gift.  Of course when I talk to anyone about this they always bring up the newer seasons. Sooner or later I got to get cable, hehe.  I do prefer watching any show in the marathon form, even if it does cut into my sleeping time.

Have been watching the news on the earthquake in tsunami around Sumatra.  Devastating.  Occasionally mother nature decides to remind us how insignificant we are.  Could you imagine a wall of water hitting an area you live like that?  Watching the news, I saw an American tourist who survived the wave by holding onto a palm tree for eight hours.  Her boyfriend washed away but she held on.

Sorry about that.  I had to get going yesterday and never got back to the web log.  End of the year closing is usually busy and takes precedent.

Anyway I was talking bout the earthquake and such.  This earthquake that caused the tidal wave actually jarred the entire earths orbit.  Granted by most calculations the revolution of the earth was sped up by less than a  microseconds. but still that is one helluva quake.

It's funny, Mother Nature and I get in a fight every year but thank goodness she doesn't send something like that at me.  Our fight begins when the colder months come.  I try to keep wearing my normal attire (you know, sandals, hawaiian shirts, and shorts) and she keeps trying to freeze me out.   When I get real cold I put on a scarf and hat with my normal attire.  One year she did send a blizzard to finally beat me.  But if I here of tidal waves coming at me I'll quit our trivial battle once and for all.

Anyways back to closing the year for the company.  In case I don't write tomorrow have a wonderful and safe new years eve and here's wishing you a happy and fulfilling new year.
