MAJOR FUNDRAISERS
 

Rotary Night At The Races
           
 

Rotary Night At The Races will be held March 9th at the Lancaster Country Club. Proceeds from this fundraiser go towards funding Club Projects presented on the prior page, plus other humanitarian activities identified during the year. None of the money earned from our Fund Raisers is used for normal club activities and operating expenses*. Rotary Night at the Races activities begin with a social hour which includes a cash bar and h’orsdouvres, followed by an excellent buffet dinner. A program of eight races immediately follows dinner. Our Chairman is Fred Hatcher.
           
* Club operating expenses are funded by the club's portion of membership dues, new member application fees, weekly club fines, the weekly club raffle and special assessments, as necessary.
           

Holiday Wreath Sales
           

Beginning in the fall of 20001, The Rotary Club of Lancaster-Sherman added a 2nd Fundraiser.  The club sells live Holiday Wreaths.  The wreaths are delivered immediately before Thanksgiving and with proper care will last through the New Year.
