Seems like a long time ago since last month’s meeting, and even longer since Dick’s breakfast run, which was well attended by 8 riders on a nice variety of machinery….:-

Almost a BMW owner’s club event…..

Unfortunately I have no photographs of the last couple of runs, something must have happened to the camera, the film came out totally gobbledegook, that includes my holiday photos too! You’ll have to let your imagination do it all, but the run went very well with a breakfast at Fylde Superbikes at Blackpool. The weather stayed good for the morning, and a couple of us returned via Knott End, only to find we were too late for anything really interesting…. In the afternoon was the finale of the Bradford to Morecambe Classic vehicle run, not at Morrison’s car park this time but along the prom. Again the weather stayed very kind after a poor forecast and those who remained in Morecambe were treated to a Red Arrows display.

Numbers have been dwindling a little at the meetings and runs this back end, but it’s probably due to holidays and such like. Having said that this summer we’ve seen a few new faces at meetings, and a few more occasionally on runs.

This week's meeting is going to be another simple Social at the Scarthwaite House Hotel, we could do with some ideas for the Festive Nosh if you have any comments we can air them at the meeting…...
