Decos I love visual beauty, harmony and eye-pleasing designs. One of my favorite hobbies is a little-known form of collage art, or rather, the merging of collage and mail art: Decos.
I enjoy decos a lot. The hobby has lately become better-known among the art scene, due to the influence of the Internet. There are lots of pages out there which describe the basic idea of decos so I won't bother. For a good overview and lots of deco scans, check out e.g. the Swapsonian.
At the moment I am also interested in more serious bookbinding. I would like to make real books, photo albums and other bigger projects. The art of making something useful and beautiful fascinates me.
I regret I can't scan more of my decos but our scanner is not working right now. However, I enjoy conducting various surveys. Check out some results from my current deco survey.
