Since 1936, Isuzu Motors Limited of Japan has specialised in producing automotive and industrial power applications. This has seen the company develop into a global manufacturer of products and components that are trusted, accepted and sought after by consumers and businesses across the world.

The world's largest manufacturer of diesel engines, Isuzu has generated sales of over ten million units - to date. As one of the most popular global industrial brands, the company has long been a fixture on Fortune's Global 500, list of corporations.

Since the 1930s, Isuzu has made many interesting technological discoveries. They pioneered the use of ceramics in internal combustion engines and in 1981 introduced the first, ceramic glow plugs - reducing pre-start warm up time. Innovattions like swirl-type combustion, for optimal air-fuel mixing, help to maximize combustion and minimize emissions on every engine Isuzu manufacture.

The Isuzu brand has become synonymous with reliability, durability and quality. From the beginning, the Isuzu approach has been stimulated by engineering curiosity, technological improvement, and a belief that the use of machines should enable problems to be solved without the creation of new ones.

Isuzu's continuing dedication to cleaner, quieter, and more efficient engines, stem from an abiding respect for the environment - and the unquenchable pursuit for innovation.
