History
Alec Gideon was born in London on November 8, 1974. He was always a strange child, although his parents (former hippies) were very happy with his strangeness. They constantly pushed him to read the Beatnik authors and listen to '60s music. While other children at the time's hereos were soccer players, or sports figures, Alec's were the Beatles and other mod rock icons.
His teens were marked with promiscuity, drugs, and the nightlife-- Alec was the life of the party. Unafraid to take any drug, Alec was living a rock'n roll cliche.
His parents (strangely enough) pushed him to get good grades in hopes he would attend Berkley or perhaps UCLA. Alec didn't dissappoint. He graduated with excellent grades and chose to continue his education at Berkley. Once in Berkley, Alec began easily making contacts within the drug community, and it was at a club while trying to get a score that he met Sylvan.
Sylvan was a tall and extremely attractive raven-haired beauty, and Alec was immediately taken with her. A conversation was struck, and the two discovered their love for British music, sex, and of course drugs. That night Sylvan gave Alec a score of mescaline and told him to go home, turn the lights down, and put on Sgt. Pepper. Alec had no problem with this. Rushing home, he did as she asked and what happened next changed Alec forever.
Alec's avatar had been waiting for quite some time to awaken the young man, and now that he may have a potential tutor, it made its move. That night, as Alec neared the peak of his drug-induced state, the avatar came to him the only way it thought Alec would listen.
During Alec's peak (and conversly, though no coincidence) during "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," Alec was visited by one of his childhood heroes, John Lennon. John told Alec that Alec had the power to be more than this-- to be one with those who would understand his need for rebellion and help him open the doors of his perception. Alec quickly agreed, and Awakened that night.
When the mescaline wore off, Alec found himself in the company of Sylvan. She explained what had happened to him, and offered to teach him if he was willing. Alec didn't need to be asked twice. The two became inseperable over the next three years-- their relationship changed from that of master and student, to lovers. Alec dropped out of Berkley and he and Sylvan began a legendary trek across America in search of good times, good parties, great drugs.
The party ended, however, when the two arrived in Chicago and were attacked by Technocrats. It was during this fight that Alec accidently killed his master. Fleeing the scene, Alec made his way to the west coast once more, in hopes of finding relief from the guilt of his master's death. He found himself in Salt Lake-- far-removed from his Tradition so he can keep his secret. He has set up shop here, and hopes to find other Mages.
Role-Playing
Alec can be quite fun to be around-- he always seems to know where the good parties are. However, Alec has a dark side and can get quite depressed at times. He never talks about it, and keeps to himself during these moods.Quirks
Alec takes a lot of drugs. A LOT of drugs. He can be seen routinely taking: pot, mescaline, LSD, mushrooms, and Soma.
Two of these are foci, most of them are for fun.

Alec using this rote can see into the past or future to gain a particular piece of info or inisght in a situation. He generally visits the past and rarely sees the future.
Corr ** Not Happening Man
By using this rote Alec can ward himself from scrying attempts. He keeps himself hidden from prying eyes, unless he allows a certain person in(by using Mind ** conjunctional effect)
Mind * Feeling the Vibes
Alec uses this rote to sense the psychic impressions given off by an object or area.
Mind ** Who Me?
Alec uses this rote to create an aura of underestimation about himself. Enemies will believe he's just a stoner or nothing to worry about. His thoughts will seem to be one track, or very unthreatening.
Mind ** Yeah me, baby!
This is the exact opposite of Who Me. By using this, Alec makes himself look more threatening, or attractive to the target. His thoughts will seem on track, and either threatening or very inviting.
Mind ** Gimmie some sugar!
Using this rote Alec can send a look that carries a psychic impression upon another person to give him a kiss. Depending upon the target, the reaction can be very good, or can send the person in a full blown Homophobic rage.
Mind ** Good trip/Bad trip
This rote is used in conjunction with Alec's Vac guns. By injecting a person with the hallucenigenic drug Alec sends a mental impules to the person so that they well either have a good or bad trip. He can also set a particular theme to the trip as well. He cannot govern the trip entirely however, just the general feelings.
Mind ** Peace frog
By using this rote and giving the peace sign, Alec creates an aura of calm and groovy feelings.
Mind ** Fight the man!
This is the exact opposite of Peace frog. Alec gives the British peace sign reversal that will enrage most authority figures. More of a taunt than a feeling.
Mind ** Pickup line
Using this rote Alec sends out a psychic impression of a good pickup line. Even if it's the world's worst line ("hey, how you doin?") It will seem witty.
Mind ** Dream a little dream of me
Using this rote, Alec creates a mental impulse to another person to dream about him. The nature of the dream is entirely up to the target, however Alec generally uses this as a seduction tool, rather than his enemies.
Mind ** How was it for you?
By using this rote, Alec and another mind mage can link to each other during sex, so that both can feel what the sex feels like to the other person.
Mind ** Time ** Hey remember when?
The rote deals with seduction mostly, and is used to keep lovers interested. Alec creates a psychic impression upon some object or gift and the person remembers the last time Alec and she had sex. Most often Alec will cast this upon his bed, or piece of jewelry. When Time ** is used, it becomes a triggered effect whenever Alec is in the presence of the intended target.
Time ** Mind ** Passing time?
Using this rote, Alec links minds with another mind mage and during congress, Alec will make time seem to slow at a particular point. While time does not actually slow, it will certainly feel that way.
