Volume 17

Miaka immediately decided to go to the other world. She finds the rest of the Seishi and Nyan Nyan.

At Tenkou's palace, Tenkou tells Taka that he is only the shadow without those stones.

Miaka tells them that Tenkou took Taka, and they have to save him. Nyan Nyan with Chichiri's help transfer Miaka and Nyan Nyan to Tenkou's place. They find Tenkou taking out all the stones from Taka.

Somehow they manage to save Taka.

Meanwhile Keisuke, Yui and Tetsuya went to the library and tries to find some lead about this "Tenkou" person. What is he, and maybe they will know how to defeat him.

But nothing.

The Seishi tries to comfort Miaka and Taka especially. Although Taka pretended that he was okay... but he really isn't. Nuriko tells him no matter what Tenkou says, he always have th right to love Miaka.

Taka went to apologize to Miaka. Tasuki saw them from far away... he was confused.. he doesn't understand why Miaka would love Taka although he always makes her cry. Just when he was wondering about that, a stranger appear, Tasuki prepared himself to fight, but the person spread his wings and there's was water coming out. Tasuki touched the water... and falls into the spell.

Taka tells Miaka to wait for her, he's going to ask Chichiri where they are eating for the night. On his way he meets Tasuki... yet Tasuki beats him up...

Tasuki went to Miaka and tells her that Chichiri and the rest are already at the restaurant.

Now Chichiri wakes up, he fell asleep because he transfer his energy to Nyan Nyan since she was badly injured by Tenkou. He went to find Miaka and company. He sense a weird aura around the forest. Not long after he find Taka on the ground. He asks Taka what happened. Yet Taka didn't say much. Taka believed that Tasuki wouldn't do such a thing. He runs off to find Miaka. Again Chichiri smells the odor... it was really familiar...

Meanwhile, Tasuki and Miaka were at the restaurant. They ordered food, and Miaka asked where the other people were, Tasuki said they'd come anytime soon, and offered her alcohol. Miaka was drunk pretty fast, and Tasuki asked for a room.

Meanwhile Nuriko had no idea what happened, he find Mitsukake sitting beside a little girl. They try looking for the stone... but....

Tasuki brought Miaka to a room, and puts her on the bed... ehh... dooo.... hmmm... well he kisses her and Miaka tries to stop him.

Anyways, Chichiri runs around to find Miaka, Taka, and Tasuki. But he was distracted by the smell. He encounters the same person as Tasuki did. He realizes he was Hikou... he best friend from a looooong time ago. The one who stole his fiancee, and the one Chichiri killed...

Miaka started crying, and Tasuki stopped asking why she's crying. Taka appears and they fought... obviously Tasuki has the advantage, Taka is only

normal person, and he doesn't want to fight Tasuki.

Everything started shaking, there was a big earthquake. Hikou tells Chichiri that Tenkou's power has increased. He tells Chichiri taht Tasuki's been hypnotized by his spell and disappears. Nuriko and Mitsukake catch up. They knew immediately that Miaka was in danger. They got to find her.

On Miaka's side, Tasuki was trying to kill Taka, in his mind all he thinks about is to kill Taka. But he stopped himself by burning himself! How heroic. Taka runs and tries to stop the fire. Mitsuakake arrives in time and heals Tasuki.

When Tasuki awakes... he felt ashamed, and apologized to everyone especially to Taka and Miaka.

Now, Hikou attacks and captures Miaka. Everyone couldn't move due to the water. They see the process of how Chichiri and his best friend Hikou fought... and how Hikou died. Chichiri collapse, and Miaka was taken away. Tenkou's goal was to stop Chichiri, since Taka is no more Tamahome, the strongest Seishi is Chichiri. So to defeat all Seishis, destroy Chcihiri first.

Chichiri lies on the bed, and he was giving up. Mitsukake tells him he's not alone, they are there to support each other. Taka tells Chichiri, no matter what he has to go save Miaka. If Chichiri can't go, he will go alone. Chichiri sits up and tells him that he will go.

Tasuki asks Chichiri to bring him, he still feels awful for what he has done to Miaka and Taka. Chichiri agrees and bring him along with Taka.

Skip the details. Chichiri and company managed to defeat Hikou, and save Miaka. before Hikou dissolves into the water, he tells him that Chichiri's fiancee never cheated on him,she was in love with Chichiri, it was Hikou who was one sided love. He apologizes to Chichiri and then disappears.

They came back to the inn, and Hotohori appears holding Chiriko in his arms. She fins out from Hotohori, Nuriko that both Mitsukake and Chiriko's stone disappeared. She tells them not to say anything to Taka.

Taka and Tasuki were sleeping, Taka wakes up, Tasuki also woke up, and both of them were shock... in the mirror... we see Tasuki.. but Taka wasn't there... he had no reflection. Taka tells Tasuki not to tell Taka. Miaka came and Tasuki runs off.

then something really weird happen.. another Tamahome showed up!
