This OVA is to link the Orginal Story with the second OVA, therefore you need to watch the TV series/manga before watching this OVA. And it'll leave you hanging if you don't watch the second OVA. You don't have to watch this to watch the second OVA. The creatr just want to answer some unanswered question in OVA2.

This story occurs when Tamahome first became Taka, and starts off in the real world when Miaka, Keisuke, Tetsuya and Taka went to meet their friend to visit Byakko no Miko and Genbu no Miko's grave.

While they were visiting, Taka keeps on hearing someone calling his name and when they went to visit Byakko no Miko's grave, Taka was taken away by a red light, and disappeared. When they came back to Tokyo, they learned that Shi Jin Ten Sho has been stolen and the library has been put to fire. Not long after Yui disappeared.

Taka returned to the book, and meet Hotohori's granson. But when Hotohori's grandson brought him to the Suzaku Temple, Taka was rejected by the chi that was there. He was accused to be a fraud and they threw him out of the palace.

Therefore Taka decides to go find Taitsukun. But when he was there, he only sees rocks. And a young lady appears calling him "Nakago". What's happening? Well you have to see it for yourself. ^-^!
