The Earth is my altar, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals.
One of the biggest difference in the Dianic path and that of other larger religions is in the practice of them. We do not go to church or meet with some medium between the divine and ourselfs. Our life is our religion, the earth is our altar, every action we make we do so in the name of the Goddess. Every breath I take is sacred. The way to Her is to look within ourselves.
Our rituals can be deep and solem, a long quiet meditation. With just our thoughts and the Goddess. But usually they are full of life. Dancing and chanting to raise energy. With passion and laughter filling the air. A group of sisters being themselves, open and free and sharing in all the love and joy of the Goddess. We rejoice in life, in the Earth and all Her splender.
Each Dianic woman, has her own path and as so her own way of honoring the Goddess and practicing her faith. We try to make our religion part of our lifes. Which could mean spending every morning in meditation and prayers. Or doing small prayers throughout the day. Bringing our magick into our kitchens, our bathrooms, our bedrooms, etc... or creating a specific place for rituals and prayers. Then we have the phases of the moon and the sabbats in which get special attention and specific rituals for. Which you can learn more about on my moon page and my sabbat page.
