| Hartman Trip
John & Bobbie took pictures of their
vacation and sent them to me because I asked them to help me develop my travel
section. They visited John's mother in Denver on the first part of their trip.
Bobbie said vacations are more fun when you take God along.
Bobbie reported that they rode the
Georgetown Loop Train and there was snow in the mountains but she did take a coat.
She loved the mountains.
AT The Cross
Cross
Ministries
Another spectacular view was the
crosses that could be seen for 20 miles coming and going on Interstate 40 at Groom,
Texas. Bobbie especially enjoyed this. She is standing beside the statue of
Jesus carrying the cross in the first picture. Click on the picture to see a larger
view and hear Bobbie sing. She said she could not stop crying. It was so real.
Bobbie is standing at the foot of the cross in the last picture and she hopes everyone
gets a chance to visit the crosses. She says it will have a profound affect on
you. They were also excited about a stop at Lake Village, Arkansas where two girls
are painting the pictures of the Last Supper and other well known scriptures on the
walls. There is even a church in the back of the restaurant. The church is
called The Divine Truth and the restaurant and bakery is Crickets Restaurant and
Bakery.
Bobbie Blows the Shofar
This is Bobbie blowing the
Shofar. The Shofar is a trumpet made from a ram's horn. Traditionally the
shofar was blown as a call to repentance or to call attention to God's work by the Jewish
people. Bobbie's friend in St. Francis, Kansas ordered the horn for national prayer
day and knowing that Bobbie would visit promised her an opportunity to blow the
horn. Bobbie enjoyed having the opportunity to blow the Shofar. They were in
Kansas to attend John's class reunion. To hear Bobbie talk about their trip one is
completely aware that she was blessed on this trip. May the Lord always bless and
keep the Hartman family in His care. Thanks Bobbie for a good report !!!!
UPDATE
Bobbie ordered a shofar since she enjoyed blowing her
friends horn. She said that it is hard to do and has made her lips sore but she is
going to master it. John is able to blow it better, but Bobbie is determined to
become proficient at it. If you hear about a lot of people
suddenly feeling a call to repentance it may be because Bobbie and John are blowing the
Shofar with a prayer in their heart. For more information about the shofar go to:
