The Final Battle - Turn 6 
Fuelled with fury at the loss of brother Aquinas, the Emperor's Champion, the three remaining Black Templars barrelled into the wounded Carnifex, hammering blows upon blows on it with their powerfists. Against such a ferocious barrage, the wounded Carnifex breathed its last, bringing one of the Black Templars down with it in a last gesture of defiance. As Inquisitor Crynos, Grandmaster Aurelius, Wolf Priest Logir and the Space Wolves Grey Hunters advanced towards the Tyranid forces, they were met by three blasts of pure warp power. Against this warp-spawned attack, their power armour was useless and it was with anguish as Wolf Priest Logir and Grandmaster Aurelius watch their battle brothers disintegrated by the warp powers. Roaring their battle cries, the two heroes swept into the Tyranids, hacking left and right, ripping a tally of the hideous creatures. Cut off from each other by the press of aliens, Wolf Priest Logir found himself surrounded by two Carnifexes and three Zoanthropes. Roaring his defiance, he fought with the power of a madman by to little avail as the might of the monstrous creatures descended upon him. Grandmaster Aurelius could do nothing to help, surrounded as he was by hundreds of Rippers. The Night Lords and Tyranids clashed in a massive confrontation. The Daemon Prince Lucia, hindered by the henchman of Fabius Bile, could finally get to grips with its enemies and it relished the pleasures it received from slicing down the Tyranids. Against its might, the Hive Tyrant and Carnifex were seemingly no different from the rest of the ordinary Tyranids, and were cut down with contempteous ease. Having despatched the most powerful opponents all the battlefield, Daemon Prince Lucia raised itself to its full massive height and roared it victory. None could stand in its way. Its cry was drowned out by the sound of massive jets as the ships of the main force finally arrived. The vanguard have held the landing zone long enough for the main body to arrive. Now, the cleasing of Klendathu begins...
