The Final Battle - Turn 2 
With a common enemy in sight and fast approaching, the invaders further tightened their formations and fired their weapons to the the lines of the Tyranids. The Predator fired all its big guns at the menacing winged Hive Tyrant but all it's ammunition blasted off its armour plates harmlessly. The long Black Templar manning the chain gun, outraged at the lost of his squad brothers, dashed towards the Tyranids, eager to rip the offensive aliens apart with his bare hands. With a blast of super-heated air, a new force appraoched in the midst of the invaders -- Tau. Upon touching down, the Tau immediately commenced fire at the Tyranids. Though the Tau agenda wasn't know, their heavy firepower was much welcomed. Railgun shots, seeker missile shots and plasma shots were sent into the waves of Tyranids, blasting many of them apart. Further reinforcement arrived from an unexpected quarter. Spearheading the charge, the Wolf Priest together with the Black Templars's Emperor Champion led two squads of Black Templars marines straight into the maws of the Tyranids, laying carnage where ever they strode. Without warning, strange spores a metre across, with waving tendrils, descended silently upon the air currents to land in the midst of the Space Wolves and Night Lords. As the tendrils came into contact with the foreign matter of the invaders, they exploded with vicious force. Despite the tight formation of the invaders, the corrosive alien slime could not eat through the power armour of the marines and most when unscatched save the blistering of the paint of their power armour.
