The Worlds of Ravenna "Grimforge" is the name given to this world by the "workers" that reside here. Grimforge is a totally artificial planet; a collossal engineering feat of gears, rails, metal beams, pipes, ducts and other stuctures---all of terrifyingly titanic proportions. The planet's central core is actually a behemoth furnace that powers it's rotation and supplies heat and there are also massive water condensing and circulating systems that keeps this heat in check; in various locations around the surface of Grimforge there are huge vents the size of small moons that release heat and steam like gigantic tea kettles. Oddly enough, the inhabitants of Grimforge did not nor have any records of the entities that first constructed the planet--as far as they're concerned, their home has always been.... Grimforge is the ultimate workhouse in the Caelestis Galactica. Wherein the crafters of Acerbus create weapons of war of unsurpassed quality, the people of Grimforge are unrivaled in their production of superior equipment and objects of the applied arts. Like most of the other worlds in the Galactica, Grimforge's culture is similar to that of Victorian Earth (something along the lines of the Swiss and German cultures), but with heavy industrialization throughout the entire planet. From the military standpoint, Grimforge does not appear to support any sort of standing army--the populace is too busy working, working, working. However, there is the presence of "artificial constables" for purposes of urban pacification and there also exists the "rumor" that hidden somewhere within the planet or prehaps on some other world there are schematics for transforming the entire world into a weapon of incomprehensible dimensions...but then again, it is only a "rumor"....Grimforge is valued for the superior workmanship of its products and thus holds an influential 3 seats in the Senate.
