Functions of
LNSA Officers
Administrative Division
Vice-President for Project Planning & Management
The VP for Project Planning and Management
is responsible for planning the conduct of the
projects/activities of the organization. He/she devises
security measures necessary for the conduct of a particular
activity of the organization. The VP for Project Planning &
Management is tasked to update the Executive Board of the
upcoming projects and activities of the organization at
least two (2) weeks before its conduct based on the calendar
of activities established by the organization. He/she
ensures that the line-up of activities established for the
Academic Year and are being carried out faithfully and in an
orderly manner. He/she may have the power to modify a
particular project or activity of the organization when the
need arises, with the approval of the President. The VP for
Project Planning & Management may serve as ex-officio member
of the Committee on Health Advocacy. He/she is also
responsible in coordinate with the Managing Director for
Property Management and Executive Director for Finance and
Controller regarding the projected expenses for the conduct
of a particular activity.
Vice-President for Communication System
The Vice-President for Communication System serve
as the official keeper of all documents of the organization.
He/she m serve as ex-officio member of the Committee on
Advertisement and Promotional Activities. He/she is also
responsible in securing an official logbook of the
organization and record all information pertaining to the
conduct of the activities and projects of the organization,
which includes the minutes and agenda of the meeting. The VP
for Communication System also ensures that the minutes of
each agenda in the logbook are duly signed by the President
and the Adviser of the organization. He/she maintains a
compilation of all documents of the organization. and writes
or sends by electronic mail the necessary letters and
correspondences needed in a particular business of the
organization. He/she also issues written announcements and
notices of any information regarding the affairs of the
organization, such as upcoming, activities, projects,
notices and financial reports of the organization and
publishes notices and executive memoranda issued by the
President. He/she may serve as clerk during impeachment
proceedings unless he/she is the accused.
Vice-President for Student Relations and
External Affairs
The VP for Student Relations and External Affairs
ensures an open line of communication between the members of
the organization and the Executive Board. He/she informs the
President of any concerns and grievances of the students
that needs to be addressed to the Dean of Nursing and
maintains an updated and accurate master list of all members
of the organization. He/she may serve as ex-officio member
of the Committee on Student Grievances and Petitions. He/she
is responsible in coordinate with the Congress of
Confederates in ensuring that the students participate
actively in the endeavors of the organization and in
maintaining open lines of communication with other
Recognized Student Organizations in the College. He/she is
also responsible in updating the organization regarding to
activities disseminated by the Office of the Student
Affairs;
Vice-President for Human Resource Management
The VP for Human Resource is responsible in maintaining
a record of schedules of classes and clinical duties of the
each member of the Executive Board and the Congress of
Confederates. He/she serve as ex-officio member of the
Committee on Nominations and Elections and keeps on file an
accurate list of names, addresses and contact numbers of the
members of the Executive Board. Primarily, he/she supervises
the recruitment of aspiring officers for the organization
and ensures that the organization is represented in RSO
meetings, forums and assembly by any member of the Congress
of Confederates or special liaisons to the organization in
case of inconvenience of the members of the Executive Board.
The VP for Human Resource is tasked in supervising the
Annual Election.
Managing Director for Publications
The Managing Director for Publications
decides with the President
which articles will be included in the newsletter’s issue/
He/she serves as ex-officio member of the Committee on
Breakthrough in Nursing and ensures that the organization’s
newsletter is safe from plagiarism and other forms of
offenses pertaining to intellectual rights. He/she assigns
possible news and feature articles to all members of the
Executive Board and is responsible in editing the submitted
articles by the members of the Executive Board. He/she is
tasked to submit the articles to the newsletter’s editor and
maintains contact with the organizations’ newsletter
publisher. He/she supervise the production and circulation
of the organization’s newsletter.
