The Calling Rules
Ladies, I apologize if this is information you already know, but I felt inclined to list the calling rules practiced by women who are dating because many men are not aware of them.  I think it is quite necessary that if one party is going by the rules, then the other party should go by them too, to eliminate any misunderstandings.  These rules are meant for non-committed relationships but can still be used loosely for those.

Calling Rule #1
If the person says they'll call you, you cannot call them.  This is until they call you, and then you are free to call them.

Calling Rule #2
Do not call every day unless you are serious with the person or plan to get serious.

Calling Rule #3
Do not call more than once a day unless the person asked you to.  This does not mean you can call again if you asked, because they'll say its okay even if its not.

Calling Rule #4
If you called and left a message, or if you know the person has caller id, you cannot call again until they return your call.

Lesley's Personal Calling Rule
Do not call me three times in one week, let a week and a half pass without calling, and then call and expect me not to have a problem with that.  Predictability, people!  I need it!  (Am I the only one?) 
Cell Phone Rules
Guys, do not use your cell phone when eating dinner with your date or girlfriend.  Period.

On a date/outing, do not use your cell phone more than twice and do not use it for more than a few minutes at a time.
Other Dating Rules
Do not use the "p" word unless  you know for sure your date uses it freely.

Don't make a date with your girlfriend or whatever and not tell her it includes a friend.
