BEDROOMS
There are two double rooms, each with
a balcony overlooking the lake, and two twin-bedded rooms,
one of which also has a cot. There is also a large roof
room, ideal for children and teenagers, with four single
beds, a snooker table, bar football and a small television.

All
the bedrooms are carpeted and each has wardrobe and drawer
space. Quilts and English (rectangular) pillows are provided
but guests should bring their own bedlinen.
BATHROOMS
AND LOOS
There is a bathroom on the first floor
with bath, loo, handbasin, heated towel rail and separate
shower cublicle. On the ground floor there is a power shower
room with loo, handbasin and heated towel rail, and there
is a third loo off the basement utility room.
KITCHEN
The French limed oak fitted kitchen has a combination gas/electric
hob which uses bottled gas, an electric oven, a microwave
oven, a large fridge with freezing compartment and a dishwasher.
There is also a small table which seats four people.
SITTING
AND DINING ROOM
The L-shaped sitting and dining area
is terra cotta tiled with two large Persian-style rugs,
and is equipped with English and Fernch handmade pine furniture.
The large dining table seats up to 12 people on benches
and chairs. A four-piece suite is perhaps halfway to being
unique - very comfortable, but allow five minutes to get
up from your chair! There is a television connected to an
Astra satellite system, for non-subscription channels only.
We are planning to have an aerial fitted for French television
some time in the near future. There is also a mini hi-fi
system. There are French windows leading to a patio at the
side and to the balcony at the front, with views over the
lake.
HEATING
There is electric central heating with a central thermostat
in the sitting area.
UTILITY
ROOM
This is in the basement, approached
through an external covered drying area. There is a Miele
cold-fill washing machine, sink, electric room heater and
ample drying space
GARDEN
FURNITURE
There is a long table on the covered balcony overlooking
the lake and a smaller round one with a parasol for use
on the small patio area near the kitchen. There are also
12 chairs and two sunloungers. You will find a barbecue
in the utility room.
SHUTTERS
In hot weather closing the shutters
will help to keep the house cool. The latching mechanism
allows you to leave the shutters ajar yet still secure,
for example at night
LINEN
Guests should bring their own bedlinen, towels and teatowels.
Duvets and rectangular English pillows are provided
