In my last week in the U.S, we went across
to Jefferson in Texas. Our first stop
was a little store which stocked a large number of different types of
jams. I had only ever seen probably
about three of four of them so we got a couple and tried them on some
scones. Mmmmm. They were good. |
|
After we left the store, we went over to a
little railway track called the Jefferson and Cypress Bayou Railway. We took a ride on a train here through the
swampland which I thought was quite good.
Again, the scenery here is very different to anything you would see in
New Zealand. |

This is a picture of the Cypress
River. We got to see many different
views of this during our train ride.
We also saw some deer but weren’t quite quick enough to snap a picture
of them. Maybe next time.
