Love is like Mentos You say Hard on the outside Chewy inside With renewed anticipation I tore your plastic wrapping Hoping you'd fill my mouth With your sweet, sticky essence Yet when I try to break your oven-baked crust I find layers of granite-hard candy instead In desperation of getting you into my heart I chew you Hoping you'd find your way Through my digestive tract And in haste to find true love at last I get an upset stomach
