Welcome to the "values" web site.  The site specifically addresses the needs of young people from 12 to 18 years of age, but the concepts are pertinent to all ages.  You will find curricular materials encompassing the following areas:  character, respect, building trusting relationships, fulfilling obligations, and safety and school law.  A student workbook, suggested classroom activities, and lesson plans are also included.

Learning Objectives:                                                      

Those students who study this data will be able to:                            

• Distinguish between strong and weak values.                            

• Understand the processes that lead to good decision-making.

• Consciously make decisions based upon what is "right" as opposed to what is "wrong."

• Have meaningful and positive relationships with others.

• Understand basic school law as it applies to safety, and the need to take personal responsibility.
