Hermit crabs need a lot of stuff in their tank. Here is everything you'll need:

Temperature and humidity gauges - $6-$12
10 gallon TANK or more - $10+
playsand - $$2-$4
food and water containers - $2-4
salt and freshwater bowls(optional unless you have strawberries) - $1-$2
ISO - $1-$10
fake plants - $1+ (You can buy them from the Dollar Tree)
Climbing background - $2-4
Spray bottle - $1 +
UTH $10+
Cuttlebone $1-4

Stuff you can buy from dollar stores:
Spray Bottle
spare ISO
food dish , water dish, and pools (bowls for them.)
fake plants

Minimum price without tax : $37
Maximum without taxes(matters what size of UTH, tank, and ISO you get): $62

You will also have to get a PLEXIGLASS LID or put plastic wrap over the tank so the humidity will stay in it. You will have to leave an air hole so they can breathe.

You will also need shells for the crab to change into. I couldn't list a price because the price varies because different stores have way different prices. If you go on vacation, you should stop at a shell shop. They usually have cheap ones there.

There might be more stuff you need. If you have salt water bowls, and the price of Instant Ocean.
