The group, Cross-Cultural Solutions, is a non-profit organization that sends volunteers from around the world to provide humanitarian service in developing countries. Programs are located in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil, Ghana, Tanzania, Russia, India, China, and Thailand.
The CCS Ghana program offered me not only the experience of volunteerism but also cultural learning. By working with this organization I was able to provide service and learn alot about a different culture. Enjoy your stay!
Welcome! This site is dedicated to a trip I made to the West African country of Ghana. I travelled with a group called Cross-Cultural Solutions to provide volunteer service in the remote Volta Region. On this site you will find information on the contry, various excursions, travel help and tips, and the service I provided.
