Radio Kurtodrome 7
Approximately 30 minutes of music. As if you were listening to the radio. Sort of. (The tracks with a 'D' are downloadable.)
FAULTLINE - Where is my boy?
This song, where Faultline borrow the voice of Coldplay's Chris Martin, is the main reason to listen to Faultline's second album Your Love Means Everything.
MAXIMILIAN HECKER - Infinite Love Song (D)
The best song from Hecker's debut album. Read my review (and lots of other articles by lots of other people) at Audio Ether. Hrm, can you here "Maxi" used to cover Beck and Oasis?
BABYJOHN - Lost Grooves (D)
New Belgian group. Not quite gripping, but I really like the chorus. (And the rest of the song actually.)
REINDEER SECTION - Cold Water (D)
Ah, the Scottish supergroup is still around. Nice. Cold Water is an MP3 that makes you think someone's talking to you on your MSN Messenger. (Unless that would be the copy-protection.)
THE BOOKS - Motherless Bastard
The Books are Zammuto (living in the Apalanches) and Paul de Jong (composing OSTs in NY) and this song just has one of the cruelest intros you've ever heard.
CALEXICO - Stray (D)
Guess who we were thinking of when we heard Motherless Bastard. Calexico of course, here's their very familiar but still very nice single again.
THIEVERY CORPORATION - Lebanese Blond
And to end it all this nice tune (as found on the 4AD site).
