Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a radio show? No, but radio show is close enough. Radio Kurtdrome is 30 minutes of music found on the Net. some tracks are downloadable and some aren't. Above all, it's good music. The current edition can be found here, just above those links to older shows. It's that easy. Enjoy!

DEATH IN VEGAS - Leather Girls
One of the biggest jokes in the music industry I've heard lately? Well, Leather Girls is told to be the next single for Death in Vegas. Okay, Dirge was also an instrumental single and quite different from the original cd version. But until we read the official news, we can have a laugh.

MY LITTLE CHEAP DICTAPHONE - Smash
MLCD (once is more than enough) is the difficult to remember pseudonym of Redboy (always dressed in red clothes, you see?), according to his biography capable of singing and playing "guitar, bass guitar, rhythm machine, sampler and other toys". In 2000 he made a demo album that enabled him to play lots of concerts and to record a first album, Music Drama, recorded last year in Belgium and the US and released in April of this year.

ST. ETIENNE - Showerscene
St. Etienne are back with a new album, Finisterre. Here's one of their new tracks.

THE BE GOOD TANYAS - Rain and snow
According to their bio Frazey Ford, Trish Klein and Samantha Parton (a.k.a. The Be Good Tanyas) have been accuses of playing "beguiling, haunting, rustic, ambient, goth-folk" or "hobo-erotica". They met each other in British Columbia and now they find themselves on Radio Kurtodrome. Blue Horse is the title of their album.

MARY TIMONY - Musik and Charming Melodee
If you don't know Mary Timony, then I'm willing you don't know who the singer of Helium was. From Mary Timony's new album The Golden Dove.

IKARA COLT - City of Glass
Harder than that nut on the table, it's the London indie-rock combo we love. Not as hard as their usual stuff, so even the softies amongst you can enjoy this downloadable track.

SLEATER-KINNEY - All Hands on the Bad One
Hands up if you're the bad one. Sleater-Kinney are currently on an autumn tour, which is why we're plugging them. It's another download.
