Airlifted in by a cargo gunship during the Battle of Geonosis, the Repblic forward command center was used by Master Yoda to oversee the battle.
Created by Rothana Heavy Engineering - the company who made much of the Republic Army's equipment and vehicles - the command center was designed as a mobile unit capable of being transported onto the battlefield. While the information it provided wasn't as comprehensive as data found in larger, stationary command centers, the mobile center was nevertheless useful - especially during the Clone Wars which spanned the whole galaxy. As well as being a command post, the mobile command center also acted as a tactical communications station, able to recieve signal feeds from clone commanders across the battlefield. During the Battle of Geonosis, the command center was stationed near heavy artillery walkers for protection. |
