A clandestine division of Kuat Drive Yards, Rothana Heavy Engineering was one of the largest manufacturing corporations in the Republic. Located on Rothana, near to the cloning planet Kamino, the company specialized in military transports and attack vehicles. Some of its most famous vehicles include the Accamator-class Cruiser and the Republic Gunships.
Rothana Heavy Engineering was contracted by the Kaminoans to provide vehicles and transports for the clone army they were creating. They developed many vessels, most of which had later revisions and redesigns during the course of the wars. It is believed that Rothana Heavy Engineering survived into Palpatine's New Order, but the company's fate is unknown. |
