As well as being a formidable Jedi Knight, Joclad Danva also practiced the deadly teras kasi, making him a dangerous foe and a powerful ally.
Though he was able with the Force, Joclad never used it during his teras kasi bouts. He knew that using the Force to help him in his matches would be unfair and negate his mastery of the art. Even without the aid of his Jedi powers, Joclad remained undefeated for many years...until a tournament on the planet Bunduki.There, in a forty-seven minute bout, Joclad fought with Phow Ji, a native of Bunduki. Phow Ji brought Joclad's perfect career to an end, so the Jedi Knight was then able to focus more on his Jedi skills. He later helped rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis, and managed to survive Count Dooku's ambush. Joclad went on to fight the Confederacy in the Clone Wars. |
