OSOGOVO
MOUNTAINS, BULGARIA
A border mountain between Bulgaria and Macedonia. The highest peak of Rouen (2252 m) is reached from the town of Kyustendil via the chalets Iglika and Stouden Kladenetz. Alternatively, one may go along the now deserted border forts west of the village of Gyueshevo.

Allow a day for each of those routes. Generally no problems due to walking along the border. Both starting points are reached by a slow train or a faster bus from Sofia.
