| Wildlife Biology continues to be my special field of interest due to my charm of nature and Earth's marvelous creatures. In this world, they are unique in many ways that humans cannot compare with them. Many cultures often have animals as their symbol of respect, as some Native Indian tribes used to portray salmons as the "giver of life." How animals survive in the wild always made me want to compare whether we humans could have the endurance to push ourselves beyond limits. Few creatures possess awesome physical prowess that could even make athletes jealous! However the factor that fascinates me most would be their interactions both in the wild and in our community. | |
| Researching different facts about new species had always intrigued me. Predators, for example are very interesting because I could discover their hunting techniques and how each contrast from another. Animal intelligence would be another of my main topics I focus on because I had always been extremely inquisitive to find out what they can do beyond humans. Their Niche (role) in the ecosystem would also be a vital field to learn also because we would know their importance. Despite all of my fascinations, I still have never encountered a wild animal face to face yet. |
| Devoting time to wildlife biology has had incredible value because I could know how to react myself against their instincts. Most animals are "defenders," creatures that fight or attack to protect themselves or their young. Being careful would be better than being reckless wouldn't it? Poisonous animals would be an epitome of this, by learning more about their venom and how it transfers to human blood had increased my level of awareness in the wild. Some extremely dangerous animals would undoubtedly be the "Sea Wasp" or known as the Box Jellyfish. | |
| By all means, I wanted to become an ecologist or marine biologist during the past but I realized that there was low income and my parents advised me to focus on a better career. At first I disagreed but later I followed their advice. However, it doesn't stop my curiosity with them the least. Some of the zoologists I know that are famous would be Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin, who run their shows regularly on animal planet. In nature, I like wildlife and hope to explore the inhabitants living there. Many people would prefer to focus on sciences like chemistry but as for me, this is my ultimate recreation that cannot be rivaled with! |
